How do you get the maximum benefits from your teams?

It is our experience that truly effective teams outstrip the productivity of individuals working alone but that an ineffective team is more destructive to an organization than individual contributors falling short.  Life gets complicated working in large, global, matrixed businesses.  Senior executives belong to and lead multiple teams that straddle functions, geographies, and products. As such, the need for well-functioning teams is critical.  That is why we have invested a great deal of time and energy creating a range of approaches for developing high performing teams.

We start by understanding the team’s business objectives and where they fit in with company strategy.  Our next step is to gain a thorough insight into the individuals in the team and diagnose how they work together collectively.  We go beyond simple team dynamics to explore issues such as the team’s ability to deliver and sustain optimum performance, its clarity of focus and alignment, the manner in which the team lives the value of continuous improvement, and how the team interfaces with stakeholders across and outside the organization.

Based on the outcomes of the diagnosis, we will work with you to tailor a relevant and beneficial team intervention focused not only at enhancing the internal dynamics of the team but also raising the bar on performance through:
