YQ Issue 2: The Talent Issue

Monday, May 24th, 2010

Welcome to the second issue of YQ. In our first issue we focused on leadership in challenging times, considering how leaders could create meaning and engagement as they sought to navigate their businesses through the mire of challenges thrown up by the economic crisis.  While the world hasn’t turned rosy overnight, many of the companies we deal with feel that the worst is behind them and they now look forward, with guarded optimism, to the future. In this new phase, we are seeing more and more businesses thinking deeply about how they identify and retain their talent and what they do to accelerate the promotion of talented individuals into positions of responsibility. This is the focus of our second issue. – Gurnek Bains
