Stan Hannah is a Senior Consultant in YSC’s Houston office. Joining YSC in 2011, Stan blends his skills and experiences in corporate consulting, research, and business management to develop solutions that lead to short- and long-term business success. He has worked with leaders across a variety of industries including retail, financial services, healthcare and energy.
Early in his career, Stan worked as an organizational consultant for a global HR consulting firm, where he performed talent reviews and 360 feedback sessions, and provided targeted coaching to emerging leaders and senior executives. During his tenure at the firm, he worked extensively with oil and gas companies in the US and on long-term assignments internationally.
Prior to YSC, Stan worked for a Fortune 500 financial services company as a Product Line Manager. With profit/loss responsibility for a multi-channel $15m business portfolio, Stan gained a healthy perspective for the unique challenges leaders encounter when tackling complex business problems. After product management, Stan served as a Market Research and Integration Consultant analyzing business data and integrating solutions to drive organizational change.
Stan earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia’s Curry School of Education. He also completed a certification program in Principles of Marketing Research from the University of Georgia. He received an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Michigan State University, where he played on the varsity football team and was a two-time recipient of an NIH international research fellowship.
Stan is passionate about helping others feel a sense of validation in pursuit of their goals. He is particularly skilled at getting people to access, believe in, and own their inner strength and power. Stan currently resides in Houston, TX where he, his wife, and his daughter enjoy volunteering, food and spending quality time with friends and family.
